In the inspiration business, Strokes of Genius, connects audiences with artistic geniuses of the past on a human level and thereby encourages audiences to adopt the empowering traits of these talented men.

Scott Shepherd performs fully-staged yet flexibly-scripted shows for all ages, accompanied by slides, music, and participatory demonstrations and re-enactments of masterpieces to evoke the spirit of these men, what drove them to be so productive, and to inspire audiences to a similar sense of urgency in their own work.

Scott Shepherd is an experienced and highly-acclaimed art and drama teacher of students aged 6 through adult, Golden Apple finalist, Fulbright Scholar, professional sculptor and mime, and seasoned professional performer since 1976. Scott has given thousands of performances as founder and actor-director of Opus Mime Ensemble and Strokes of Genius.

Introduction of Through the Eyes of Rodin, Renoir, and Michelangelo averaging 175 performances in 105 different schools across the country from Seattle, Spokane, and Boise to Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin, Missouri, up-state Idaho, and Alaska.
Presenter at National Art Education Association Conventions in 2003, 2004 & 2006.
Key-note speaker as Leonardo Da Vinci or Monet at educator conventions in Michigan, Anchorage, Phoenix, Sun Valley, and Charlotte.
Public performances at New Trier West High School for the past 4 years.
